driving in Dam Area

Hello Neighbors,
It was brought to our attention that there has been a vehicle driving over the newly planted soil on the dam.  This has caused severe rutting in the newly planted soil.  In addition, multiple vehicles have pulled in from Lakeside Drive leaving the area by the road rutted as well.
Please use this as a friendly reminder that vehicles are never allowed on the dam or anywhere off the road in the subdivision, for that matter.  This is unnecessary damage that will now create additional work for volunteers of the neighborhood (and possibly added cost).  There is now a barrier and sign up to not drive down there, but we ask that you please be respectful of the beautiful land, lakes and areas that our subdivision has access to.  Also, please be sure any visitors and children are also aware of the need to respect these areas at all times.
If you have any information of who may be driving over this or see behavior at anytime that you believe is not appropriate, please do not hesitate to contact us.  In addition, please remember with school starting the importance of driving slowly through the subdivision.  We have many, many children in the neighborhood and it is important we keep them safe at all times.  Driving below 25 when children are present is ideal and much appreciated.
Finally, please be sure to review the notices that were sent out within the past week regarding an upcoming meeting.  It is important that all members take the time to vote and as a reminder, you can vote by proxy and put your proxy either in the mail or the lockbox at the park.
Attending the meeting is not required if you vote by proxy.
Thank you!

Vernon fire Department Training on Our Lake today 1/6/2018

Hey neighbors!! If you notice the Vernon Fire Department over at the park today, they are doing their annual ice search and rescue training. There is no emergency. Please be mindful of any holes they may drill in the ice until they freeze over. We’ve allowed this for many years and are proud to offer the park and lake to serve this training need for the community.

Santa Claus is Coming to Hidden Lakes!

It's that time of year again, and Santa is planning on making an early stop through Hidden Lakes on the evening of Sunday, December 10th between 5:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.!

If you have any good little girls and boys at your house that would like a visit, please call, text or email me BY 5:00 P.M. ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 3rd with the following information:

Names and Ages of Children

Last Name

Santa usually has a little treat with him, but you can also place labeled gifts for your kiddos outside where Santa can see them.  If he sees the gifts, he will put them in his sack to disperse once inside!  Once again, we will also be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations for the Mukwonago Food Pantry.  We made a very nice donation on behalf of Hidden Lakes last year!

I will follow up with more details to all participants next week including your time slot once I have a final count.  If you have a preferred time feel free to let me know.

Happy Holidays!
